I did not set out to review room décor. I set out to stop buying the wrong pieces. After a pillow insert that went flat every high note and curtains that never blacked out into every take, I started reading product pages the way designers read mood boards. Room Deco is the short list I wish I had then: throw pillows that keep their loft, wall art that fits the wall, blackout curtains with real liners, washable area rugs for real life, ambient LED strips that actually stick, faux greenery that does not look shiny, floating shelves that stay level, candles and diffusers that look like décor, and accent mirrors that brighten a room.
